Completely immersed in the Val di Chiana, the historic centre of Sinalunga is divided into two parts, one medieval and one late Renaissance. To see are the collegiate church of San Martino, the church of Our Lady of the Snows and the church of Santa Croce, which preserves the altarpiece Marriage of the Virgin of the school of Luca Signorelli, one of the greatest interpreters of Renaissance painting. Also worth a visit are the Palazzo Pretorio, the museum space "Le Stanze di Larth" with Etruscan finds, the Fonte del Castagno from which the tunnels that form the Path of Water and the church of San Bernardino start.
At the table the most characteristic products are the meat of the Chianina breed, the agglomeration of the Valdichiana perfect with the pici and olive oil. Events include the Fiera alla Pieve in early October, the Incantaborgo in July and the Enchantment of Christmas in the Christmas period.
