Nella quattrocentesca villa, ovvero dove si spense Lorenzo il Magnifico, costruita su progetto dell’architetto Michelozzo, è ora ubicata la sede degli uffici dell’Azienda Ospedaliera di Careggi. Si tratta di un monumento aperto ai visitatori, i quali possono ricevere un opuscolo contenente informazioni storiche isia n italiano che in inglese. La villa conserva ancora le linee architettoniche originali e le decorazioni pittoriche seicentesche.
