Radda in Chianti is located in the historic centre of Chianti, on a hill between the Pesa and Arbia valleys. In the historic centre, with a medieval structure, to be seen and the Palazzo del Podestà, the church of San Nicolò, the Museum of the ancient convent of S. Maria del Prato.
On the Vignale farm, there is the Centre for Chianti Historical Studies, while short excursions to the south lead to the Romanesque parish churches of S. Giusto in Selcio and S. Polo in Rosso. Also nearby are the fortified villages of Volpaia and Coltibuono, also perfect destinations to savour the many typical products such as oil and wine.
