Overview
On Sunday, May 11, the appointment with the Chianti Classico Marathon returns, the ideal opportunity to combine the love of the marathon with the discovery of one of the most fascinating territories of Tuscany: the Chianti Classico Fiorentino.
You can choose between three races:
The routes start from Mercatale Val di Pesa and cross the municipalities of San Casciano Val di Pesa, Barberino Tavarnelle and Greve in Chianti.
As per tradition, at the end of the two competitive distances (53 km and 21.8 km), there will be a final lunch reserved for all participants, an opportunity to relax and celebrate together after the race.
The event allows not only to practice sports, but also to discover Chianti and its delicacies, thanks to guided tours and tastings in the most important wineries and wine cellars in the area, open to runners and others.
