Christmas Markets in Arezzo 2024

Overview

The magic of Christmas returns to Piazza Grande, in the enchanting historic centre of Arezzo, in the heart of Tuscany. From 16 November to 29 December 2024, don’t miss the 9th edition of the Villaggio Tirolese: a magical Christmas market that welcomes exhibitors from the Tirol, Germany and Austria, boasting the best of local Tuscan products.

A programme packed with events and attractions awaits: from the Christmas market, to the tasting huts where you can try the best Tyrolean beers paired with typical dishes, including pretzels, spatzle and polenta, to the light projections on the buildings around Piazza Grande. You can also enjoy the Christmas Gardenar, with fir trees and guided tours to help you explore the wonders of Arezzo.

For an even more fairy-tale atmosphere, the two top attractions will be Santa’s Grotto and the Lego Christmas House.

At Santa’s Grotto, you can write your letter to Santa in the post office, ride the magic sleigh, exchange your Christmas storybook with the elves and meet Santa Claus himself to take a selfie.

Meanwhile, the palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici  of Arezzo will host a large Brick House with artwork, mosaics, large installations, exhibitions and workshops featuring more than 30 Moc
