Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB is the first sports event of the year in Chianti.
The 2025 edition will be held from March 20 to 23.
On the schedule is a full weekend of races that have become part of the UTMB World circuit:
- Ultra Trail Chianti Castles (120 km)
- Chianti Ultra Trail (100 km)
- Chianti Marathon Trail (50 km)
- Chianti Half Trail (20 km)
- Chianti Wine Run (10 km) night
The routes start from Radda in Chianti and cross the territories of Chianti Fiorentino and Chianti Senese, allowing you to admire all their characteristics: from the hills covered with vineyards and olive trees to the wooded paths that climb Mount San Michele.

7 p.m., Start Chianti Wine Run - Sunday, March 22
4 a.m., Start Ultra Trail Chianti Classico
7 a.m., Start Chianti Ultra Trail
6 p.m., Award ceremony CUT - UTCC at Ultra Trail Village Chianti - Sunday, March 23
8 a.m., Start Chianti Half Trail
9 a.m., Start Chianti Marathon Trail
from 11 to 1 p.m., Award ceremony at Ultra Trail Village Chianti
Throughout the weekend, the Ultra Trail Village Chianti, the village dedicated to bikes, will be open.
