ITALIAN OPEN BNL

Overview

The Internazionali di Tennis BNL are back in Rome again this year from 29 April to 18 May 2025.

The 82nd edition of the Roman event will mark the return to competition of number 1 Jannik Sinner, the first Italian in history to reach first place in the ATP ranking.

This year, tennis will enter the Stadio dei Marmi for the first time. The evocative facility, named after the legend Pietro Mennea, generally dedicated to athletics activities, will allow the public to enjoy a new fascinating point of view. Inside, a stadium with over 3,000 seats will be set up - the SuperTennis Arena - and two other courts with stands with 800 seats each.

Together with the Central Court, the Grand Stand Arena and the 'Pietrangeli', the SuperTennis Arena will therefore represent one of the four show courts of the tournament. In total, there will be 9 playing courts and 12 training courts for the champions expected at the start; special mention, among those reserved for preparation, for the two set up along the Tiber, in the shadow of the Ponte della Musica.
