Overview
From April 4 to July 13, 2025, Scuderie del Quirinale will host “Global Baroque. The World in Rome in Bernini's Century,” organised with Galleria Borghese in Rome in collaboration with prestigious national and international institutions and museums.
The exhibition recounts a cosmopolitan Rome, at the heart of a complex network of travel and relationships that cross national and cultural boundaries. It will be possible to admire masterpieces by Baroque masters such as Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Pietro da Cortona, and Nicolas Poussin, revealing a multiethnic and multicultural world, capable of fostering dialogue, at the court of the Popes, between Japan and Persia and between Congo and the New World.
