Christmas Markets in Trento 2024

Overview

The scent of wood, mountain air, cinnamon and mulled wine. The beautiful, festively decorated Christmas tree in Piazza Duomo, to set the scene. From November 22nd  to January 6th, Trento will host their unmissable Christmas Markets, a collective celebration of this beloved festive season. This year with a “two-wheeled” novelty, visitors will be able to produce energy by pedaling, helping to illuminate the event.

The holiday season is for all to celebrate and enjoy coming together. Trento, as we know, has always been a city where everything, from lights to colors, perfumes to sounds, takes on a special charm.

You can do Christmas shopping in the 75 wooden market stalls showcasing Trentino crafts and culinary specialities. You’ll find decorations, small wooden trees, miniature angels, nativity scenes, clothing, handcrafted jewelry, natural cosmetics, and a triumph of flavors. Don’t miss the desserts, such as apple strudel, Strauben funnel cake, Zelten Christmas cake, Mochena pastries, Christmas biscuits, chocolate pralines and honey-based specialities. Pleasures for the palate await!
