Overview
Wine lovers brace yourselves: from 4th to 6th of April, the not-to-be-missed Vinitaly and the City, Vinitaly’s off-show, returns: tastings, wine experiences, master classes, mixology, talks, meetings, guided tours and widespread events to discover food and wine excellence and the beautiful historic centre of Verona, UNESCO World Heritage city.
The event’s widespread locations will be:
Piazza dei Signori
A Grande Enoteca of Italian wines will be set up in the Loggia di Fra Giocondo. You can taste sparkling, white, red and rosé wines, expressions of different areas. In the Loggia Antica, the art of Mixology event, where the best bartenders will perform preparing cocktails with wines, spirits and liqueurs. In the centre of Piazza dei Signori you can enjoy wines and cocktails while admiring the elegant buildings, seated comfortably in the lounge. For a breathtaking toast, you can also go up to the panoramic terrace of Torre dei Lamberti.
Old Market Courtyard
In the evocative location of Cortile Mercato Vecchio, tastings await you to discover new wines and excellent food and wine products. In the centre of the square, you can attend Wine Talks and hear stories about wine and producers.
Courthouse Courtyard
The food and wine tour continues in the Cortile del Tribunale with a selection of wines curated by Gambero Rosso, Regione Sicilia and Fiera del Riso, which will offer for the occasion, in addition to the classic risotto all'isolana, risotto with Amarone and risotto with Val di Non apples and Prosecco.
