Overview
The museum, located inside the Palace of the Vicars, houses exhibits from different periods, such as the Etruscan (ceramics found in the castle), Roman (a female sculpture dating back to the 2nd century A.D.), Medieval (locally produced artefacts) and Renaissance (architectural fragments and objects decorated with coats of arms and heraldic motifs from the 16th-17th centuries). During the visit you can admire the Prisons, the Underground also called the Inferno, the Torment Room (or Torture Room) with frescoes from the 16th century and the Tribunal Room.
