Fiera di Vicenza

Overview

Fiera di Vicenza is the exhibition centre of the city of Vicenza, best known for its three renowned jewellery exhibitions, and consists of an Exhibition Centre and the Vicenza Convention Centre.

Founded in 1948 on the initiative of Gaetano Marzotto, its first president, the Fiera di Vicenza started out as the Fiera Campionaria Nazionale (National Trade Fair).

Its boom in popularity among local citizens soon turned the venue into the go-to place in the province.

In 1971, thanks also to its growing success among the public, it was necessary to find a new location, and so the Fiera di Vicenza moved to its current building in Vicenza Ovest, on Via dell’Oreficeria.

The building was gradually expanded with new pavilions, while simultaneously growing in importance at first in Italy and then around the world.

The exhibition space currently spans 15,000 m². The latest pavilion was opened in 2014, and is considered one of the most elegant and functional exhibition facilities in the world. In addition to increasing its capacity, Fiera di Vicenza has become an international reference point and world leader in the gold industry.

Since 2016, this exhibition centre in Vicenza has been part of Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A, which owns the Exhibition Centre.
