Christmas Markets in Bolzano

Overview

The scent of cinnamon, wood from the mountains, homemade desserts and mulled wine. Colorfully decorated houses and the cheerful sound of Christmas carols: the Bolzano Christmas Market returns to Piazza Walther from November 29th to January 6th 2025. The much awaited event of the year that will wrap you in the warmth and magic of the Christmas spirit, no matter your age.

About 65 wooden chalets will be set up in the main square and the nativity scene in a real stable. A large "Wish Tree" will be adorned with beautiful decorations and the wishes of children being treated in the hospitals, supported by the Lene Thun Foundation. The surprises don’t end there!

You can try excellent Bolzano wines at the Wine Lounge, meet celebrity writers at the beautiful Auction Rooms of Palazzo Mercantile which will host the review "A Christmas of Books", and take a trip to the Alcide Berloffa park where you can walk among the 32  wooden chalets while sipping a delicious hot mulled wine.

To note in your planner: every weekend, concerts of the typical songs of the Advent period will be held in Piazza Walther.
