Merano Christmas Market 2024

Overview

From 29 November 2024 to 6 January 2025, the Merano Christmas Markets return, a feast for all, including the five senses, where the truest and most authentic warmth of Christmas can be felt. The atmosphere is magical: the scent of the spices and homemade sweets awakens memories of childhood. The twinkling lights of the little houses and Christmas trees will immerse you in the tradition and experience the festive atmosphere that surrounds and warms you.

You can ice-skate on the Terme square, discover charming corners of the city by lantern light, enjoy the choirs and traditional bands, savour traditional South Tyrolean delicacies, and shop in elegant wooden chalets displaying typical and handcrafted products.

Piazza della Rena also comes back to life, where the Christmas Villagewill be waiting for you, because the Markets bring the city together with more events and in more places.

Also not to be missed are the spectacular Kugln, where you can eat inside large Christmas balls, the Sky Bar, the Goldys Club with its workshops and the carousel for the children.

There is also a large tree-shaped house on the Lungo Passirio near the pedestrian crossing, on the river that connects Piazza Terme to the Promenades, which is actually much more than an infopoint, waiting to provide you with any information you need.

It's time for us all to become children again, to enjoy the good things and get carried away by the magical atmosphere of Advent.
