Fonte di San Lorenzo

Overview

The beautiful Valnerina Ternana is an area that offers unique scenery with some of the most beautiful olive groves in Le Marche. Olive agriculture and the production of olive oil are the rural activities that have shaped these lands. As evidence of this ancient tradition, near to Fonte San Lorenzo, you will see the ruins of an olive mill dating from the 1st century AD - complete with pressing rooms and drainage channels.

This is a unique place, which has always welcomed the care and efforts of the people who have left their mark on the local landscape and history.
