Overview
A mountain village perched on Mount Pratiglio, on the edge of the Simbruini Mountain Park, the headquarters of which are located here. In the upper part of the village, you can see the remains of the 11th-century fortress and the small frescoed church of the Madonna della Rocca. At the end of the Simbrivio valley, about 15 km away, lies the village of Vallepietra, in the heart of the park. Nearby, you can see the charming little Shrine of the Santissima Trinità built on a high rock wall in a panoramic location. Inside, there is a 12th-century fresco of the Holy Trinity.
