Bagni di Pisa Palace & Thermal Spa

Overview

Caring for the body and mind in a historical location

In the setting of a splendid 18th-century palace in San Giuliano Terme, in the province of Pisa, the summer spa residence of the Grand Duke of Tuscany back in 1743, today you can find the Bagni di Pisa Palace & Thermal Spa, a five-star residence where you can rejuvenate your mind and body. The former palace houses 61 rooms, including 11 junior suites and 9 suites, some of which are frescoed, all furnished in a style consistent with the era of the building. The spacious entrance and breakfast rooms are also lavishly decorated.

Delicious food is served by Restaurant Lorena and chef Umberto Toscano, who creates tasty yet light dishes, combining taste with a focus on health and well-being. In fine weather, you can sit on the Corte Byron terrace for an aperitif or after-dinner drink to music from the piano bar.

Don’t miss the Thermal spa and medical area, with its Equilibrium path, designed to strengthen the immune system through a holistic approach, including massages, personalised diets and ancient Indian medicine-inspired rituals. Alongside the two pools and thermal water grotto, you can make the most of countless treatments on offer, including body scrubs, seaweed drainage, thermal mud detoxes, fruit acid facial peeling and the Salidarium, a bed of warm salt crystals with regenerative properties.
