Tesero

Overview

A historic centre waiting to be explored, between the Latemar and Lagorai mountains

In the heart of Fiemme Valley, between the Latemar and Lagorai mountain ranges, is a small cradle of centuries-old traditions. Tesero, a village just a few kilometres from Trento, captivates all who visit with its historic centre that boasts a medieval atmosphere and endless possibilities for excursions all year round.

Your exploration of Tesero begins in its delightful historic centre, from which, within a few kilometres, you can visit small jewels such as Casa Jellici, at the heart of local cultural activities, the Church of Sant’Eliseo, with its imposing 15th-century bell tower, and the 13th-century Church of San Leonardo

During the winter season, Tesero becomes the ideal starting point for skiing holidays, thanks to the Ski Center Latemar ski resort: 48 kilometres of slopes served by 18 ski lifts and the opportunity to enjoy night skiing on certain days of the week down the famous Obereggen slope

Tesero is also a paradise for artistic craftsmanship. The village is famous for the many pieces of furniture and musical instruments that are made there, as well as for the nativity scenes that populate the historic centre during Christmas at the annual “Tesero and its Nativity Scenes” event.
