Levico Terme

Overview

For an immersion in wellness and nature

The valley floor of the green Valsugana, in south-eastern Trentino, is criss-crossed by the arsenical-ferruginous waters of the Levico and Vetriolo spas, which were discovered in the early 18th century and have well-known beneficial properties.

Beyond the spa complex, the area has much to offer in terms of nature and is rich in history. This is demonstrated by the Austro-Hungarian fortifications scattered throughout the area, such as the Forte delle Benne, a testimony to the First World War.

Another great attraction in the area is undoubtedly the Habsburg Park, which at Christmas is filled with markets, lights and colours and during the rest of the year enchants visitors with its tree species. Also not to be missed is the 18-metre-high, octagonal Belvedere Tower, rich in decorative motifs.

Finally, excursion to Lake Levico, a beautiful fjord at an altitude of 440 metres, to Lake Caldonazzo with its large bathing establishments, and to the top of the Panarotta, one of the gateways to the Marmolada massif, on the south side.
