Agritur Le Mandre

Overview

FEW BUT GOOD, QUALITY MILK PRODUCTS

On the lush Pinè Plateau in Bedollo, Trentino, lies the Agritur Le Mandre, family-run farm with 20 cows and 75 sheep, who produce the milk transformed into cheese in the small farm dairy.

The family's “motto” is “less quantity, more quality”. In fact, the animals are free to graze in summer and in winter they are fed on young cut green hay, reducing the use of artificial feed.

THE SPOTTED MOCHENA GOAT AND THE BLACK PIG OF THE ALPS LIVE HERE HAPPILY

The family is committed to the protection of breeds at risk of extinction, such as the pezzata mochena goat or the black pig of the Alps; from the strictly “raw” milk of their animals they make different varieties of cheese, excellent ice cream and typical products to be bought directly in the farm shop, according to the logic of the short supply chain “from producer to consumer”.

From Easter to November, all these delicacies can be enjoyed comfortably on the panoramic terrace.
