Valtellina and wellbeing
Wellbeing has been rooted in Valtellina since the dawn of time. Indeed, the beneficial properties of Valtellina's thermal waters have been well documented since Roman times.
Mentioned several times by the historians Pliny the Elder and Cassiodorus, the waters have cared for emperors, nobles and princesses, but also cheered citizens, who traditionally used thermal springs through pools with free access.
At the Terme di Bormio, one of the most popular destinations in Valtellina, you can dedicate time to your wellbeing by immersing yourself in the waters flowing from the mountains at a temperature between 37° and 40°C, particularly suitable for treating skin, respiratory diseases and rheumatic syndromes.
