Porta Venezia

Overview

Access to Milan’s historical center

One of the most important junctions, Porta Venezia opens onto the district by the same name. It is considered the coolest and most elegant in Milan, home to the upper middle class with its 1900s liberty-style buildings. From an architectural point of view, from the center of Piazza Oberdan, the district opens with two buildings with elegant porticoes decorated with statues in Carrara marble

Formerly Porta Orientale, located east of the city, today it is one of the six main entrances to Milan. From here you can access the historical center, through Corso Venezia or take Corso Buenos Aires, the street famous for shopping. The district is a mix of modernity and elegance where the frenzy of the main streets finds respite in the Indro Montanelli Gardens, perfect for pleasant, relaxing moments.
