In occasione dell’anno giubilare del 2000, la Curia Vescovile, su richiesta di Monsignor Salvatore del Ciuco, ha voluto creare un Museo al fine di preservare e promuovere il patrimonio della diocesi. È suddiviso in tre Sezioni: Archeologica, Storico-Artistica e Arte Sacra - Tesori dei Papi.
