Nicknamed the “Queen of the Dolomites”, Cortina D’Ampezzo is an exclusive destination international jet set destination and renowned tourist resort in the winter as well in the summer, with important international sporting events taking place on its ski slopes (Cortina will host the 2026 Winter Olympics). Located on the southern side of the Puster Valley, close to Bruneck, in South Tyrol, Kronplatz is a rolling massif reaching an altitude of 2,275 meters and offering large panoramic views. Alta Badia lies in a central position within the Dolomiti Superski area, surrounded by Calfosch, Corvara and La Val. The valley’s ski area offers both slopes for beginners and families and more demanding slopes for those willing to be a little more daring. The Alta Badia ski area also offers access to the famous Sellaronda or “Four Passes” ski tour, firm favorite of the skiing community.

Fiemme Valley guarantees a perfect winter holiday for those who love peace and quiet and nature: in the main valleys of eastern Trentino, it has hosted several Nordic skiing, ski jumping, Alpine skiing and cross-country skiing World Championships. The Gitschberg-Jochtal/Brixen ski area is a very tempting option for all diehard ski enthusiasts. Located in Eisack Valley, it includes exciting ski slopes with different levels of difficulty where it is possible to ski up to an altitude of 2,500 meters. Fun is guaranteed in its two snow parks and along the exciting Trametsch slope, one of the longest in the Dolomites. The Civetta ski area lies in the Dolomites of Agordo, among Alleghe, Selva di Cadore and Val di Zoldo, in an extraordinary natural setting. Here, novice skiers can try their hand on simple slopes for families and beginners but the area also offers black slopes (notably the “Foppe” downhill slope of the former World Championship). Alleghe is also a handy departure point for the Great War ski tour that twists and turns around the walls of one of the most iconic spots of WWI: Col di Lana.
