Archaeology Park Livelet

Overview

A journey through prehistory to discover life in the Bronze Age

On the shores of Lago Lake, along the Prosecco and Colli Valdobbiadene Conegliano Wine Road, linking some of the most unique and evocative places in the Veneto region, you can step back into prehistoric times. Every Sunday, the Livelet Educational Archaeological Park welcomes visitors with an itinerary to discover how people lived from the end of the Neolithic period to the Bronze Age. Walk among the reconstructions of three pile-dwellings representing three types of wetland settlements and see faithful reconstructions of tools, objects and furnishings.

Another aim of the educational itinerary is to promote the archaeological findings in the nearby prehistoric park of Colmaggiore di Tarzo. Everything that can be experienced in the Livelet Educational Archaeological Park is based on the prehistoric evidence found in the Revine Lakes. In addition to walking through prehistoric times, visitors can participate in the many events and workshops organised by the park between April and October, such as courses in geology, archery in Neolithic clothing or lessons on how to make polished stone jewellery.
