Overview
The Mantovani family moved to the small Venetian municipality of Pincara out of love for a polesina. Since the 19th century, the passion for liqueurs and spirits that began with the founder Cesare lived on in the Mantovani household. They began to make them for friends and relatives, but it did not take long for it to become a profession and in 1970 the business moved to the province of Rovigo. You are in the heart of Polesine, between the rivers Po and Canalbianco, a charming place par excellence.
This important company, which unites family tradition and professional skill, promotes the pleasure and culture of liqueur and also presents it in a corporate museum located in Pincara. The museum is called "Il futuro della memoria" ("The future of memory"), and it offers three tours – History, Technique, and the Didactic Dimension – that intertwine and allow you to participate in tastings and olfactory experiences with aromatic herbs, the raw material used for distillates.
Traditions, legends, history and technology are combined with hospitality: you can even stay at the Ancient Mantovani Distilleries, for an exceptional experience in an area just waiting to be discovered.
