Panoramic walks in Trentino
If you are looking for a scenic hike within easy reach of Trento, Monte Corona is for you. Walking through its woods to the Doss Paion viewpoint, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Giovo vineyards and the peaks of the Trentino mountains.
We recommend starting from the hamlet of Ville. Before setting off on your excursion, you can visit what remains of the very impressive Castello della Rosa castle. Then, take the road into the forest heading towards Monte Corona, through dense and diverse vegetation, until you reach the fork that will take you to the Doss Paion viewpoint. Here, you will find the ideal spot for a picnic in the heart of nature, where tables and benches are available. You can have a seat here, relax and admire the wonders of eastern Trentino.
