Lake Venere

Overview

In the northern part of Pantelleria, there is a small lake set in a karstic hollow, fed by both thermal springs and rainfall. Besides being a scenic attraction due to its clear, iridescent waters and an outline of dark vegetation, in times of severe drought, it is rich in thermal mud used for therapeutic purposes.
