You can sense an atmosphere of change and revitalisation thanks to the recent opening of art workshops, craft shops, cafés and restaurants, but this has not affected the popular soul of the neighbourhood, where you can still hear the voices of street vendors and see tents and clothes hanging on the decaying facades of buildings, scooters and ape cars faded by time.
