Cala Granu

Overview

Fine white sand and brilliant turquoise water

A handkerchief of a beach: at about 80 metres long and an average width of 20 metres, Cala Granu is one of the most beautiful bays in Sardinia. It is located in Marina di Porto Cervo, in the municipality of Arzachena, and is an open access beach sheltered from the winds.

Cala Granu is a spectacle of nature: the beach consists of very fine, white sand and is enclosed on either side by two rocky shores. Behind is a large green area of fragrant Mediterranean scrub, while in front is a breathtakingly turquoise sea. Depending on the light, you can witness an iridescent spectacle of colours: a dance between deep blue and emerald green.

The seabed is predominantly sandy and shallow, making Cala Granu an ideal destination for families with children, thanks also to a range of services available.
