Cea Beach

Overview

The pearl of Ogliastra, immersed in the fragrance of junipers

In the heart of the east coast of Sardinia, you will come across Cea Beach, with its unique palette of colours. The 'treasure of Ogliastra' is distinguished by its white, fluffy, almost impalpable sand, its smooth rocks and the emerald green hues of the sea contrasting with the red sea stacks.

The shallow water makes this beach particularly suitable for the holidays of families with children, but Cea is a place that everyone should visit, at least once in a lifetime. The sandy expanse stretches for more than a kilometre fromCape Bellavista and is bounded to the south by a stretch of dark, flat cliffs and volcanic rocks.

Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub amidst the fragrance of junipers, the symbols of Cea Beach are two red rocks, the 20-metre-high Faraglioni (sea stacks) that rise out of the sea 300 metres from the shore. Swim to them and admire them at sunset, when they seem to be on fire
