Pulsano

Pulsano enchants from the first glance and welcomes with its crystal-clear waters and welcoming beaches. It is also one of the oldest inhabited centres in the entire area and this past is still witnessed by the necropolis and the remains of villages dating back to the 14th century B.C., the only traces of Bronze Age settlements in the Gulf of Taranto. The historic centre, however, can also tell the history of the area, although in this case it is a more recent history, which has remained embedded in the architecture and artistic details of the Church of Santa Maria La Nova and the de Falconibus Castle, once surrounded by a moat and a soldier's outpost.
