Overview
The Tomb of Rotari, Baptistery of St Peter's Church, can be accessed from the left side of the apse of the church. The portal, of undoubted quality, is adorned with a bas-relief representing scenes from the Holy Scriptures. The Baptistery features a majestic tower culminating in an octagonal drum surmounted by a hemispherical dome. The building is connected to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore through a door.
