Bobbio Pellice

Overview

Bobbio Pellice is a small town in the metropolitan area of Turin, not far from Pinerolo.

Once a land populated only by shepherds, today, in addition to livestock breeding and the production of butter and excellent cheeses, Bobbio is a renowned tourist destination popular with families, who come here for Sunday excursions in summer and skiing in the winter. The many footpaths provide opportunities for even novice hikers to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. A favourite destination for lovers of climbing and ski touring, the village successfully combines old-world charm with modern-day organisation and hospitality.

Bobbio Pellice is also known for its "tumpi", natural pools where you can cool off from the summer heat, perhaps by diving from the surrounding rocks, which act as natural trampolines.

Visiting Bobbio means immersing yourself in nature, admiring the incredible variety of flora and fauna and enjoying the typical local specialities served up in the characteristic and cosy mountain huts and agritourism.
