El Brellin

An 18th-century mansion overlooking the iconic Vicolo dei Lavandai and now housing a traditional Milanese restaurant on two floors, straw seat chairs and coffered ceilings evoke a family atmosphere of old recipes. Apart from a few acclaimed reinterpretations, the dishes on offer are mainly traditional, such as risotto with marrow sauce, tagliatelle with ossobuco ragout and veal cutlets. Overlooking the Naviglio Grande towpath is the Café, where you can sip a cocktail with a view of flowing water.
