Overview

The setting of a famous song by Fabrizio De André, it reveals the elegant painted facades of some noble residences, such as Palazzo Cellario and Palazzo Antonio Doria Invrea, built in 1540. The plaque on the column commemorating Giulio Cesare Vacchero, who was executed in 1628 on charges of conspiracy against the homeland, is clearly legible. Further along, on the right, is the Piccamiglio tower, founded in the 13th century. At the intersection with Piazza del Campo, the plaque dedicated to De André. While at number 29, you will find the ViadelCampo29rosso emporium-museum, with a very rich collection dedicated to the singer-songwriter and symbol of Genoa, as well as other members of the Genoese School of singer-songwriters.
