Foglia

Overview

Foglia is a tiny village of immense charm, the only fraction of the municipality of Magliano Sabina. The heart of this charming village is its castle, which appeared for the first time in the second half of the 10th century, perhaps in 988, and since then has been the protagonist of the historical events of this area. The atmosphere, in this perched village, is that of centuries past and one remains enchanted admiring the views, the alleys, the stone of the buildings. And after a stroll through its narrow streets and the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, you must try its cuisine: the typical flavours of Foglia are oil, wine, meat dishes and cheeses, symbols of a close bond with the land.
