Manin Chapel

Overview

In the vicinity of a building known as Palazzo Torriani, erected a few centuries ago by Manin, a chapel of great Baroque artistic value can be admired. It was built by Ludovico Manin at the beginning of the 18th century, presumably to a design by Domenico Rossi. The hexagonal interior is enriched by valuable sculptures and high-reliefs by Giuseppe Torretti (18th century). The walls are adorned with works of art such as: Nativity of Mary, Visitation, Presentation of Jesus and Presentation of Mary, also, above the altar one can admire a Madonna and Child painted in a lively and scenic Baroque style.
