Terme di Castrocaro

Overview

Italy’s oldest thermal spas in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines

The mineral-rich waters of Castrocaro have been known for their health benefits since Roman times, but the first spa in this town on the outskirts of Forlì, nestled in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, dates back to 1838. Over the years that followed, thanks to the discovery of new sulphurous water wells, major expansion works were launched that led to the creation of the publicly owned thermal establishment that we know today as the great Castrocaro Spa complex—a reference point for wellness and thermal cures throughout Italy.

Today, the Castrocaro Spa is a state-of-the-art centre where you can find everything you need for a wellness holiday, including thermal rehabilitation, an outpatient clinic for every need, and a spa to stimulate all the senses.

The cutting-edge spa also offers guests the opportunity for moments of total relaxation in summer, thanks to the outdoor pool route that has been designed to blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The pools that make up this winding route feature warm water, including 14 foot and lumbar massage sessions and a series of water jets designed to give neck massages.
