"Le Scuole" Library and Art Gallery

"Le Scuole" is the new library and art gallery serving Pieve di Cento. It was inaugurated early in September 2021, after the renovation and refurbishment of the former De Amicis primary school following the earthquake in 2012. This cultural and educational venue covers more than 4,000 square metres and comprises not only a number of exhibition rooms but also workshops, classrooms, an auditorium, café and bistrot and landscaped areas outside. Great care was taken to make the venue as accessible as possible for education, research, interdisciplinary learning and multimedia, with the goal of making "Le Scuole" a landmark for the community of Pieve di Cento and also for the surrounding area. "Le Scuole" is also right at the heart of the Pieve Arts District, a cultural and educational space of 17,000 square metres.
