Pollica

Overview

The authentic Mediterranean

The Prince's Palace, the Church of St. Nicholas, the Franciscan Monastery, the Castle of Vinciprova, the Annunciation Church, Palazzo Mazziotti, the Living Museum of the Sea and much more. Pollica, in the province of Salerno, is a Campanian gem that's well worth exploring, from the historic centre to the seafront.

The town, also a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an integral part of the Cilento coast and the Vallo di Diano National Park. The town of Pollica is located in Monte Stella, an area known as 'Cilento Antico' for its cluster of medieval villages, each with its own geographical, historical and anthropological character.

And of course, there is the sea. Pollica's main seaside resorts, Acciaroli and Pioppi, are well-known. For the past ten years they have won the Blue Flag award for their crystal-clear waters.
