Angri

The history of Angri is undoubtedly linked to its Castle and to the Genoese Doria family, which for two centuries (from 1600 to the early 1800s) lived and exercised its enormous power in these places. During this period, the fief of Angri was erected in the Principality and each of the 11 successive princes contributed to embellishing the castle and its sumptuous garden.

Today the castle is home to the Town Hall, while the garden has been used as a municipal park where parties and major city events are concentrated.
