Bagnoli jetty

Overview

A walk by the sea

Built in the 1960s to allow ships to dock and supply raw materials for the nearby steelworks, today Bagnoli jetty boasts one of the most beautiful promenades on the Phlegraean coastline, with an unparalleled panorama over the Gulf of Pozzuoli

You have about 900 metres at your disposal to walk hand in hand with your sweetheart, go jogging or simply breathe in the sea air. Your gaze is free to roam from Nisida to Procida, Ischia to Capo Miseno.

At the beginning of the quay, you will be greeted by Pasqualone, a sculpture by Giancarlo Neri reminiscent of the Easter Island heads and made entirely from materials recovered from the former steelworks.
