Lioni

Overview

A town of medieval origin, today it is an open-air museum composed of murals that communicate solidarity, memory, traditions and hope. A redevelopment project created thanks to Bag Out and the Angelo Garofalo Biennale. Among the works: Bosoletti's Pietas, which turns its gaze to the margins of society, stirring consciences; Dale Grimshaw's mural, inspired by his strong humanitarian spirit; Hyuro's mural inspired by the architectural and social reconstruction of the country after the 1980 earthquake; l'Infinito negli Occhi, by Millo.
