Bonito

Overview

Bonito is a hilltop village of medieval origin between the Calore and Ufita valleys. Its Lombard castle, with a square plan, of which the four cylindrical towers and the wooden drawbridge remain, stands out. This is the birthplace of Salvatore Ferragamo, to whom some of the street art that has coloured Bonito's buildings since 2011 is dedicated. Redeveloping the village with a focus on public urban art, which can be shared and enjoyed by all, was the intuition of the Collettivo BOCA cultural association. Thus Bonito was reborn thanks to the work of street artists known all over the world: Francisco Bosoletti, Millo, Tellas, Giulio Vesprini, Alex Senna, Diego Miedo, Arp, Milu Correch, Camilla Falsini, Nemo's, Poki, Collective Fx, Guerrilla Spam, Bifido, Andrea Casciu, Irene Lasivita and Carlos Atoche.
