Overview
Locri is a centre of millenary history, built on the remains of the ancient Magno-Greek city of Locri Epizefiri, at the foot of Aspromonte. Locri has important archaeological remains from its ancient past, including the theatre with its typical Greek structure, temples, city walls, necropolis.
In addition to its history, Locri is a popular summer destination boasting kilometres of sandy coasts: we are on the Costa dei Gelsomini, between the foothills of Aspromonte and the azure waters of the Ionian Sea.
